The fiber optic fusion splice protective sleeves prevent accidental breakage due to tensile stress thanks to their combination of plastic cover plus stainless steel bar.

Its heat shrinking plastic cover, after applying heat for a few seconds on the heater of PROLITE splicers, wraps and adjusts itself to the spliced optical fibers.
