PROMAX IC-207D encoders and modulators convert an HDMI™ signal source into the digital terrestrial television formats DVB-T or ISDB-T. They are indoor digital modulators & encoders that can be used to create a television channel in a private coaxial network according to the most popular standards in Europe, Latin America and other countries.
They are designed for a continuous use (24/7/365) and their loop-through connection allows to aggregate the new channel to the current channels in the coaxial network, and also to daisy chain several modulators.
The device is controlled using the front panel to configure several parameters of the generated digital television channel. The modulator generates a digital terrestrial television channel featuring a 38 dB MER, which turns out to be a very robust signal that can be readily decoded in television sets connected to wide coaxial networks (such as hotels, convention centers, etc).
