The progressive digitalisation of the terrestrial television has brought about a diversification of TV standards. Therefore, Brazil has also chosen its own digital TV standard (ISDB-TB), as a result of improving the Japanese system (ISDB-TB) with more efficient compression tools (MPEG-4 AVC for video and HE-AAC for audio).
PROMAX has contributed in the deployment of this standard by developing the TV EXPLORER HD ISDB-T/TB field strength meter that, like the other members of the family TV EXPLORER, is characterized as the most compact and complete field meter in the market, fully prepared for high definition and able to demodulate and analyse television signals broadcasted through terrestrial (ISDB-T, ISDB-TB), cable (DVB-C Annex A & B) and satellite networks (DVB-S and DVB-S2).
In addition to incorporating a full range of functions, and MPEG-4/H.264 decoding capability, the device offers a number of unique features such as recording live signals for later analysis, sharing files via USB, TS-ASI input / output, HDMI™ interface and real time clock.
