PROMAX at ANGACOM 2013 Exhibition June 4-6

Once again in this time of the year we finalise details for the ANGA exhibition in Cologne. You will find us in the same place as last year, Hall 10.2 stand J31. From now on you can download our newsletter number 26 covering the latest products that will be presented at the ANGA exhibition this year.

Measurements for ATSC and ISDB-T/Tb on the spot light at the Las Vegas show

With PROMAX booth number of visitors up by as much as 30%, this year's event confirms the interest in ATSC digital TV measurements even when analogue switch off is a thing of the past. MER, constellation and echoes were the three most spoken words in our booth through out the show.

PROMAX participates in the first worldwide UHDTV broadcast using DVB-T2

Several government agencies and private companies joined forces to make the first transmission worldwide of a DVB-T2 terrestrial signal in Ultra High Definition (also known by its acronym UHDTV). PROMAX is part of the consortium of companies (along with Abertis Telecom, Mier Communications and DualStream) developing the CAT.T2 project for the study of the future implementation of the new DVB-T2.

PROMAX supports DVB-T2 Lite at Mobile World congress

PROMAX ELECTRONICA participates in the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona February 25-28, as part of the NUCLIS CAT. T2 project. DVB-T2 Lite signals are being broadcast for the duration of the exhibition using channel 22.

HD RANGER+: Revolutionising the market. Again.

After five successful generations of TV & Satellite Analysers we are proud to introduce the next generation: The HD RANGER. The HD RANGER is a universal analyser that covers a comprehensive mix of broadcast standards around the globe. The latest developments in broadcast technology such as DVB-T2, DVB-C2 and DVB-S2 with MPEG-2 as well as MPEG-4 video is managed effortlessly within the RANGER product.

PROMAX in the 2012 London Olympics

The EBU (European Broadcasting Union) has relied on PROMAX to distribute its signals from the London Olympics Games. The equipment selected has been the PROMAX Digital To TV (DTTV) head-end, which is very flexible thanks to the several transmodulation modules available.

PROMAX provides technology to the Africa Cup of Nations

The biggest sporting event on the African continent has trusted PROMAX to distribute the signal of the Africa Cup’s football matches that have taken place in Equatorial Guinea, in the cities of Malabo and Bata.

DVB-C2 available for TV EXPLORER HD+

PROMAX launches the first worldwide field TV Analyser ready for DVB-C2. DVB-C2 is the second generation digital transmission system for cable networks.

PROMAX up by 20% at the IBC

Our stand in Amsterdam was quite busy in this edition of the show with about 20% more visitors than last year. Most requested demonstration was the TV EXPLORER HD+, a reference in today’s challenging broadcast industry, mainly because of its powerful DVB-T2 measurement capabilities and its affordable price level, something of concern with present budget limitations everywhere.
