The new TV EXPLORER HD+ Analyser, developed by PROMAX, has been selected by the Finnish operator, Anvia Oy, as a reference instrument to drive the deployment of one of the first DVB-T2 commercial networks in the world.
Once again PROMAX
has tested its own technological capacity to develop the first portable analyser in the world to incorporate DVB-T2 technology
, so it is able to analyse and demodulate all variants of DVB (DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB- C, DVB-S and DVB-S2) in both standard definition and high definition, including encrypted services.
Participating in the deployment of one of the first DVB-T2
networks in the world with Anvia
as a technology leader reaffirms the primacy of PROMAX
in developing the most advanced technology, a feature that distinguishes the company’s products, which is the result of its strong commitment to R&D for almost half a century.
“Being the first worldwide company to supply field analysers for the second generation of digital terrestrial television networks (DVB-T2) is the result of a continued effort for innovation that embraces all levels in our company. We feel proud with ANVIA's Finnish leader telecommunications operator trust in our technology.” - José Mª Clotet (PROMAX CEO)“The licenses granted by the Finnish government to deploy DVB-T2 networks in order to broadcast high-definition services, confirms Anvia’s strong involvement in the development of the television industry in Finland. PROMAX, as a technology partner in this challenge, will be essential to meet high technical requirements we want for our network.” - Marianne Hynninen (ANVIA TV CEO)
The awarded DVB-T2
licenses will allow Anvia
to provide broadcast services in multiplexes F and HD3 of the nation’s digital terrestrial network. F multiplex is intended for SD
programmes nationwide while HD3 multiplex will offer HD content in the Helsinki area. The modulation technology used will be DVB-T2
