IBC 2013 exhibition: Conclusions and new technologies

September 25, 2013.

One more year, the figures of IBC are increasing and this year we can say that it was also noted in our stand. With a good number of visitors and the usual quality of the IBC visitor profile, TV operators showed great interest in our products, although decisions to invest in new equipment are very much planned due to budget adjustments.

Amongst the visitors to our stand, the most wanted product was undoubtedly the new field strength meter model HD RANGER 2, a product that is already in its final stage of production and whose first customer orders we hope to serve at the beginning of the New Year. Its touch-screen, but especially its capability to combine three different worlds, radiofrequency, optical and IP, into one single equipment attracted the interest of many of our followers.

Another completely different product that arouses interest at this moment is the HD home modulator EN-206 that distributes High Definition video via coaxial networks with superior quality to the DTT.

About new technologies, UHD or HbbTV were everywhere. It seems that we all agree that these new technologies will come sooner rather than later and we have to be very aware of them, but for now we should focus in the request to unlock the digital dividend.
